The space for the name of the school is inscribed pen and ink with the name "Warren", for the Warren School. The name of the teacher is inscribed in pen and ink with the name "K.F. [?] Allen," and the name of the student the book was loaned to, and the date of the loan, is inscribed in pen and ink: "Mary Osgood / Mar. 27, 1893." The words "Washington St.," "106 Potomska St." and "Potomska St." are inscribed in pen and ink several times on the inside front cover and the first two pages.
